Part of the things that people don’t like about taking down Christmas is the “picking up after”, I personally love it because I enjoy getting organized and planning to simplify myself each year. One of my favorite stores that help me do so is @thecontainerstore, you can go into the store for great deals or if you live abroad like me, you can purchase them online and have it shipped directly to your freight forwarder, then LISTO! You have an organized home !
Below are my suggestions for the perfect holiday storage you can find at The Container Store.
To tell you the truth, it solves an issue we all go through, once you arrive home for lunch or dinner, super tired, feet hurting, back throbbing and crazy hungry... What am I talking about, for those of you who haven't guessed it yet, is our dear LAZY Susan... Rumors have it Thomas Jefferson travelled to France in the 18th where he saw what they called "Dumbwaiters" and brought this back to the U.S, where he named it after his daughter Susan, who always complained she ate the least since she was served the last by the house servant. Anyway you wish to see it, its a great add on to any meal ! I prefer it colorful and bold!!! |
